Dear Church Family & Friends

We have exciting news: This October, we're celebrating Pastor David Shearin’s 70th birthday!

For decades, Pastor David’s anointed leadership, preaching, and ministry have impacted countless people in Las Vegas and around the globe. We’re sure that you, like us, are truly grateful for his life of faithful devotion to our Lord!

As we celebrate his “threescore years and ten,” we invite you to join us in honoring him:

Birthday cards and personal notes may be mailed to:
Word of Life Christian Center
Attn: Pastor David Shearin
3510 N. Buffalo Drive
Las Vegas, NV 89129

(His Admin. Assistant, Keyanna, will gather them, and they’ll be presented to him on his birthday.)

On Wednesday, October 21 (his actual birthday), we have a Birthday Party planned. Our 7 p.m. midweek service that evening will be a surprise celebration, followed by snacks, birthday cake, and fun activities in the Family Life Center Shhh! He knows it’s his birthday, so of course he’ll assume we'll acknowledge it, but he doesn't know about the surprises we have in store, including surprise guests!

Pastors Mark & Trina Hankins are coming (Shhh!), and Patrick Vandiver will be our surprise guest musician. He will lead us in singing “Happy Birthday” when we present his birthday cake. Ashley and granddaughter Brooke will be there, and hopefully, YOU! YAY! Again, Shhh!

Whether you can be with us in person, join us via livestream, or simply send a message from afar, we know Pastor David will be blessed to hear from the many people whose lives have been touched through his outstanding life and ministry!

Thank you, in advance, for helping us make this milestone unforgettable—an evening of love and laughter that ministers multiplied GRACE to Pastor David!

With Much Love,
Pastor Vicki & the WLCC Staff
